Internships available for the East Midlands Labour Party

Do you want to gain valuable experience of working in a political environment at the very heart of the general election campaign? Then this may be the opportunity for you. The East Midlands Labour Party is currently looking to recruit hard working and dedicated volunteer interns to work from our offices in Nottingham and Derby.

You will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of the many areas of the Labour Party campaign in the East Midlands including:

·         Press and media;

·         E-campaigning;

·         Literature production;

·         Administration and;

·         Campaigning;

The successful candidates will be:

• A good self starter
• Computer literate
• Able to work to a very high standard
• Able to organise his/her workload to ensure projects are completed on time
• Flexible and willing to adjust to meet changing priorities

These posts do require the successful candidates to be committed to the aims and values of the Labour Party.

The post will require regular evening and weekend working as the campaign develops.
